Who is behind Masterful Sips?

Zaloren – WSET L2 Wine/WSET L2 Sake/ WSET L2 Spirits /Shochu Advisor/Master Mezcalier / Master Tequilier and Absolute Week and Nerd

Born and raised in Mexico City, she started her career in the Food & Beverage Industry at the age of 6, while working at the family-owned restaurant, “El Carmen Cafe”, in the heart of LA.

Since then her World has been surrounded by smells, tastes, colours, and texture.

After a detour studying physics, she achieved her Master’s in Restaurant Administration and found herself at the early beginnings of the mezcal boom. Since then she has traveled the World creating unique food pairings with Mexican Spirits.

Upon her arrival to the UK, she has now toned her knowledge and has started the journey into wine, beer, sake, whiskey, rum, gin, shochu, and other Spirits and Liquors. She is now a panel judge for Gin at the IWSC, as well as a judge Agave Spirits with the ISC.

With a creative mind and a true love for flavour, her master classes and food pairings are experiences to enjoy.
